Kaali Amman is known by many names such as Mahakaali, Bhadrakaali and Kaalika Devi. She is the fierce form of Sakthi particularly known for slaying the Asura Raktabeej and is the goddess who rules over this age we are living in (Kaliyuga). While she is a fierce goddess, she is a loving and compassionate mother to her devotees who liberates devotees from fear, ego, and negativity encouraging spiritual courage, inner transformation, and complete surrender to the Divine.

Durgaiamman is an avatar of Parvathi Amma and symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. She is seen as the embodiment of Sakthi in Hinduism, and radiates divine strength while protecting the innocent and restoring cosmic balance. Her blessings empower devotees with resilience, confidence, and the determination to overcome adversity.
Gangaiamman is the sacred river goddess who embodies purity, compassion and spiritual cleansing. She is believed to wash away sins, grant blessings and guide souls toward liberation through her divine waters. Reverence for Ganga reflects the deep connection between spiritual purification, life, and the sanctity of nature.
Kateri Amman, or Peygalamma (the mother who eradicates evil forces) is another guardian god in the pantheon of Tamil protector deities, often associated with fertility, protection against ghosts and black magic and is also known as a fierce form of the Devi. Kateri Amma as Yellai Pidhari, is worshipped at the boundary of villages as she roams and protects the boundary from such forces and sicknesses. Many devotees come to this goddess for divine intervention in healing sicknesses, protecting children and childbearing itself.
Lakshmi or Ilakkumi, is the goddess associated with wealth, prosperity and is the consort of Vishnu Bhagwan. She grants devotees with both material wealth and abundance alongside spiritual wellbeing through the intent of righteousness and generosity. Her worship encourages gratitude, compassion and prosperity that benefits the aspirant and others.
Maariamman, or Aadhi Paraa Sakthi is the central goddess worshipped by Tamil devotees and is believed to encapsulate every form of the goddess when praised. She is the goddess of rain associated with fertility, healing and protection against epidemics, including the most recent: COVID-19. She is lovingly referred to as “Ulagaththil Thaaye” (Universal Mother) and provides all of her devotees with nurturing love as the supreme divine mother.
Sarasvathi Devi is the goddess of wisdom, learning, music and arts and is also the consort of Brahma. She inspires intellectual growth, creativity, and the pursuit of knowledge while guiding students, teachers, artists, and scholars. It is a well known tradition among Hindu singers and artists, before performing any song or working on a new art piece to call upon this goddess to bless their voice or guide their hands to be successful in their endeavors.
